Radio News Scotland is looking for Stephen Morrison Smith
This Scottish blog seems to think, quite understandably, that Scotsman Stephen Morrison Smith has been done away with or has been made to disappear by the dastardly authorities of this Mediterranean island south of Sicily.
Because to normal people in a normal country, there can be no other explanation for his total silence and invisibility.
I have emailed Radio News Scotland to tell them that Morrison Smith is answering his mobile phone (I also supplied them with the number) and that he is being extremely hostile to journalists, saying “I have no comment to make” as soon as we introduce ourselves, and ringing off.
The fact that details of Morrison Smith’s arrest report have been deleted by somebody with access to the police system, coupled with his refusal to speak to the press and his request to speak to Manuel Mallia while in custody (he was in fact supplied with a lawyer from Emmanuel Mallia & Associates while under interrogation) all point towards a deal of some kind having been struck in return for silence.

They try to hide but now it’s going to be hard for them to do so since foreign journalists got involved who got nothing to do with Maltese politics.
Naturally, the PL will perceive and label this negative press coverage by a foreign newspaper as an orchestrated anti-government propaganda by the PN.
Brava Daphne, now they know your worth in Scotland too.
Our own Scotland Yard.
One of your contributors quite some time ago said “the vicim’s been got at.” Looks like he definitely was.
Wherever he is, he’d best think about keeping safe.
These are nasty people.
Isn’t it slightly odd that radionewsscotland.com has only 4 news items all relating to this one man? Has the website been set up only recently and who by?
[Daphne – Yes, I noticed that – it’s a blog by a journalist who’s following up the story: http://maciverblog.co.uk/iain/%5D
The soup is getting thicker by the minute.
Daphne I’m Scottish living in Scotland and neither me nor my family have heard of that “news” site. Something smells suspicious.
[Daphne – It’s a blog set up by a journalist trying to get information on the case.]
