Muscat is delaying the press conference so as to instil boredom and tiredness into the press members hoping against all hope that their questions will be short.
He is also delaying so as not to give time to the PN and Simon Busuttil to react today.
Joseph Scaredy Cat Muscat has spoken and has asked Mallia to resign, but has left it up to him.
Pop goes the weasel.
Bye bye Minister Mallia, and Acting Police Commissioner but according to the Three Wise Men (ergo the retired Judges) Kurt il-Kokonut is pure as the driven snow…otherwise by direct implication so is the Prime Minister guilty. So Kurt Farrugia and the Prime Minister are let off this particular hook. Prosit Prim in 21 months you’ve already lost 2 Ministers (one has to count in the ex-Health Minister).
Now that Michael Cassar is Police Comissioner, will he revive the action against John Dalli? He had said that they had all agreed to prosecute him. Now he has the power and the duty to proceed.
So now that Michael Cassar has been appointed as the new police commissioner what will happen with the John Dalli case?
That tone makes me wonder greatly whether this man has any blood coursing through his veins where his children are concerned.
Parents at his old age would normally be even more careful about their children’s well-being and safety.
Had it been my daughter, I know I would have yelled into the line long enough either for me to drop to the floor with an apoplexy or long enough to explode Sheehan’s ear-drums at exposing my child to potential danger.
Then I would have raced to the first car nearby and driven like a maniac to Gzira to secure my child from an unknown woman in strange surroundings (Mallia declared at the press conference that he didn’t know Sheehan well or so he wanted us to believe).
