Granny tweets again

Who in the European Commission would believe, seeing this little old granny from Malta, that 28 years ago Karmenu Vella was a member of a despotic regime and that he was driven around by a man with a submachine gun?

    What if Vella’s portfolio had included hygiene standards for toilet paper? Would we have been regaled with adverts showing his interest in the subject – like the one relating to his interest in fish?
