Chinese diplomats and embassy officials begin reporting for work at Leisure Clothing

Malta Right Now reports that in the light of the ongoing scandal at Leisure Clothing, officials and diplomats from the Chinese embassy are now reporting for work at the factory and have taken over its operations.

Leisure Clothing is fully owned by the Chinese state.

Of course, it has to be pointed out that working conditions in China are no different to those discovered at Leisure Clothing, which have scandalised Malta.
