Opposition spokesman Antoine Borg had asked questions in parliament about Phyllis Muscat’s compensation package as head of the CHOGM organisation “task force”.

This evening, the prime minister replied that he couldn’t reply because his people are still gathering the information.

Goodness. Can’t he gather the information himself over supper? Or in one of his many telephone calls to his Big Mother Hubbard confidante?

Antoine Borg also asked how many people have been engaged on a “position of trust” basis in this CHOGM task force (apart from the Mayor of Hal Qormi, Nuxellina, that is).

The prime minister gave the same reply: his people are still gathering the information.

Let’s be optimistic (and positive). He might tell the truth and he might tell it soon.
