Does his delusion have no limits?

John Dalli has demanded that he be allowed to ‘confront’ Giovanni Kessler during this evening’s (it starts at 7pm) session of the House Privileges Committee.

The Speaker has turned down his request, saying that he can turn up as an ordinary member of the audience – anyone can go there and listen – but he may not participate.

Obviously not – the House Privileges Committee is exactly what it says on the tin. You need a seat in the house to be permitted to sit on the other side of the table and grill witnesses.

There seem to be no limits to the man’s delusions. He was a member of parliament for around 30 years. There is no way he doesn’t know that.
