The government is going to court to repossess the building on the Birgu Waterfront out of which the bankrupt Casino di Venezia operates.
Had the shareholders included a fanfaron like Mario Camilleri of the failed Café Premier, and had they had ‘Joseph’s’ ear as he does, the government would have bailed them out using public money, telling us that it obviously has to do so because the Birgu waterfront is a historic site and there are gas cylinders in the building.
