Clint Camilleri’s Yellow Brick Road to Qala

These are photos of the road leading to Qala, taken last Friday. Work on this road started a couple of weeks before the local council elections on 11 April, with much pomp and circumstance led by the mayor, Labour politician Clint Camilleri.
One of the pictures shows tarmac that was laid in a rush on one side of the road just before Joseph Muscat stopped by for a spot of electioneering.
Then work stopped and nothing has happened for the last seven weeks.
