Exactly how is this the right image for Birdlife?

Nobody can accuse me of being coy, but I’m sick to the eye-teeth of the way people in public roles think it’s all right to be crass, and especially all right if it has anything to do with (their) male homosexuality.

You can’t object, because it’s not PC.

And this counts only for man-on-man sex, of course. Can you imagine a woman in public life posting this kind of innuendo on Facebook about fidgeting about with a stand-in for a vulva, and more pertinently, would Moira Delia ‘like’ it?

This is the kind of joke a man can make only if he is not in public life. And it’s the kind of joke women don’t make at all, because it wouldn’t be considered even remotely funny – by anyone at all – if they did.
