Maybe TVM received an urgent summons from the Spouse of the PM

When the Spouse of the Prime Minister called in the press to announce that she plans to swim from Malta to Gozo to raise money for her Marigold Foundation – instead of asking her husband to donate the money he receives from leasing his own car to the state – TVM rushed along with its tongue dragging on the floor and then gave us some breathless coverage.

But when Michael Briguglio and the Labour deputy mayor of Marsascala called a press conference about Zonqor Point and the demo against it, TVM stayed away.

I have an idea for you, Michael. When Mrs Muscat swims the channel, take out a flotilla of RHIBs flying massive banners that say:

‘NO TO THE UNIVERSITY OF BAKSHEESH’, ‘NO TO CORRUPTION’, ‘AL SALAH GO HOME’ and ‘SAVE ZONQOR POINT FROM THIS WOMAN’S HUSBAND’. And run them alongside her all the way from Malta to Gozo.

There’s no way you won’t get wall to wall press coverage with that one, far more than you will get from your demo.
