UPDATED/If reporters want to speak to Michael Falzon, he’s currently eating in Had-Dingli

You’d think that on a day like today, when his contentious behaviour is all over the newspapers, parliamentary secretary Michael Falzon would be sitting by his swimming-pool at home and lying low for a while.

But no. He’s currently gorging himself at Diar il-Bniet in Had-Dingli with a Maltese family who, as my informant put it “speak like Martin Scicluna”. Unfortunately, he was not in a position to take a photograph, which is a great shame because if they speak like Martin Scicluna, then this means I would have been able to identify them immediately and this in turn might have led me or some other journalist to the next deal he is orchestrating.
