Passport-buyer discovers that Malta is a small place

You won’t believe this, but the reader who drove down a quiet street in The Gardens and spotted Joe Vella Bonnici and his son Marc showing property to what was clearly a passport buyer and his wife (who we can now assume to be Pakistani, after information received) was having a drink at the Westin Dragonara’s lobby bar last Monday evening when he spotted the very same man in conversation with another, just four feet away from him.

There was a frozen moment of recognition as the Pakistani spotted that member of my international worldwide network of spies (and probably imagined he was being followed), then he said something to his buddy, stood up and walked out onto the terrace, where our intrepid reader snapped them as best he could.
