A government minister’s official car, wearing its GM plates (meaning ‘on government business’) plates, and driven by a chauffeur, called at Paceville tonight to collect a rather intoxicated young man and his date. The car’s only occupant when it arrived was the chauffeur.
He zipped off immediately the young couple got into the car and he noticed that people were staring and taking pictures.
I incorrectly reported that the GM plates were Parliamentary Secretary Jose Herrera’s, but it was actually Parliamentary Secretary Chris ‘Ironmonger’ Agius’s official car, chauffeur and son (and his son’s date).
