Raymond Vella & Co Ltd won (it was mysteriously the sole bidder) the €300,000 tender for new and completely unrequired lighting for the exterior of the Auberge de Castille. The lighting of historic building is a specialised field and cannot be compared to stage lighting for music performances, or ‘kooky’ temporary lighting of building facades for shows and special events.
