China Executive Leadership Academy of Pudong is directly under the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Organisation.

It is a college of implementation of the responsibility. The dean is the Minister of the Central Organisation Department of the Communist Party of China’s Central Committee, Comrade Li Yuanchao; the vice president is the Shanghai deputy secretary of the Communist Party of China, Comrade Yin Cui; the executive vice president is Comrade Feng Jun.

It is a college for party and government leaders, business managers, professional and technical personnel and military cadres, for the reform and opening of consciousness, belief in socialism with Chinese characteristics, modernisation of knowledge and education, as well as the ability to conduct international training exchanges and cooperation between national bases.
