The Opposition and the press have to keep an eye on these two bids

These notices were published in the Government Gazette of 9th October and republished on the 20th. The Lands Department is accepting sealed bids for two large parcels of land in Mellieha.
I rather think that they had the buyer before they decided to put out the land to ‘public’ offer.
The offer-period closes on Thursday. Once that happens, we need to see who the successful bidder was (the successful bidder is likely to be the same in both cases) and examine the connections.
