Man in staged electoral campaign “visit” put on state payroll at Transport Malta

Ernest Mifsud, the “ordinary worker” whose home Joseph and Michelle Muscat visited in what now turns out to be a fake and staged tactic under the glare of the press cameras during the 2013 electoral campaign, and in whose kitchen they sat to “discuss his concerns”, was put on the state payroll at Transport Malta around six months ago, as an enforcement officer.

Another campaign “star” has been paid – not using the Labour Party’s money, but the public’s. And this until he turns 61 and retires.

But if it’s not a clock, then it’s not corruption.
