Funny how Musumeci is more concerned about British pensioners

I suggest you read the comments beneath this disturbing video. They’re not any different in tone to the comments on the Maltese newspaper sites, except that in this case, the immigrant-haters can spell and punctuate. The common factor is the total lack of compassion and absence of imaginative empathy.

Then you get failed Labour candidate Sharon Ellul Bonici saying “shoot to kill”, and the executive chairman of the Malta Council for Science and Technology writing “Tow them out to sea”. And they call themselves liberal, progressive socialists motivated by concern for their fellowman. My eye – they’re a bunch of insufferable backwoods fascists motivated by greed for money and lust for power.

One says ‘tow them out to sea’ and the other says ‘shoot to kill’ – but as long as they’re drunk and happy and living high on the hog on public funds, they’re fine. That’s the New Labour Progressive Liberal Socialism for you.
