I’ve just sat down at my desk and will spend the rest of the day posting about the hottest subject of the last three years. I have been reading the comments-boards and the news coverage and there are several points that have to be discussed. But first I’m going to moderate all the comments that have come in since last night.

Please let us have your views because the implications of what has been revealed, and what our government minister has been forced to admit to under duress, are wide and great. I say “please let US have your views” because the comments-board of this website has its own dedicated readership and the comments left on it are read by thousands of people who appreciate them.

He says he is a wealthy man. In that case, he lied to parliament because his declaration of assets for 2014, placed on the table of the House in June last year, shows only one flat in Sliema, one house in London, and 4,000 shares in Malta International Airport plc. His bank deposits are cancelled out by his bank loans, which are larger.
