Politically-appointed ambassador to Finland makes partisan statements on Facebook

Michael Zammit Tabona, Malta’s ambassador to Finland (not a career diplomat, but the Labour government’s political appointee) is making partisan statements and sharing PM consultant Glenn Bedingfield’s blog-posts and Malta Today’s anti-Nationalist Party articles on his Facebook page.

He is actually defending the fact that a chief government minister and the Prime Minister’s chief of staff set up secret companies in Panama when they were already in office.

This is inappropriate behaviour on so many counts that I don’t know where to begin. It looks like Michael Zammit Tabona is now adopting the standards of Chris Cardona, Konrad Mizzi, Joseph Muscat and all the other hamalli to whose bandwagon he has hitched himself for personal advantage.
