Joseph and the sheikhs

The Prime Minister is reportedly vacationing in Dubai – very fitting considering there are few better places to bury one’s head in the sand.

Sand apart, it’s also very fitting because Dubai symbolises everything that Muscat and his government stand for: non-European values and thinking, crass materialism, bad taste, tacky choices, self-serving opportunism, maniacal building, fascination with money and trash society, complete disregard for the poor and not-useful and the accumulation of wealth for its own sake without the remotest idea of how to enjoy it in a civilised fashion.

Dubai is the Hamallu Capital of the World. No wonder Muscat and his brigands like it so much.
