UPDATED/Konrad Mizzi is currently on the flight back to Malta from Istanbul

UPDATE: Wherever he was, and it wasn’t necessarily in Istanbul, Konrad Mizzi cut his stay short. His maternal grandfather died yesterday and the funeral is tomorrow.

This picture shows him on the airport bus to the plane. The flight lands in Malta at around 6pm. Mizzi took the flight out to Istanbul several days ago.

He checked in using a diplomatic passport (blue cover) rather than the standard passport (burgundy cover).
