The Nationalist Party said in a statement today that it has evidence that Muscat’s government gave the right to vote in general elections, in breach of the Constitution, to more than 100 Chinese, Russians, Syrians, Pakistanis and Azerbaijanis who bought Maltese citizenship through Identity Malta and Henley & Partners.
“The government continues to lose the people’s trust, Now it has now been caught using corrupt practices to manipulate general elections for its own benefit,” deputy Opposition leader Beppe Fenech Adami said, pledging to take the matter to court.
