The fan-pics on Anglu Farrugia's office door

Lest Anglu Farrugia sends the police to my door again for saying that he had photographs of Dom Mintoff and Deputy Commissioner Mifsud Tommasi on horseback on the inside of his office door (where he could look at them while he interrogated teenagers and other innocent parties), I must upload a small correction.
The photographs were of Dom Mintoff and LORRY SANT on horseback, not Mifsud Tommasi.
No wonder Inspector Anglu Farrugia didn’t turn out to be such a hot-shot in investigating the disappearance and murder of Lino Cauchi.
And this man wants to be our prime minister.

That is even worse.
[Daphne – Yes, obviously – at least Mifsud Tommasi was his boss.]
This is one in the same Lorry Sant, isn’t it ?

Dom Mintoff and Lorry Sant, What horrible memories these two bring back.
Just in case the younger generation think that Lino Cauchi is Daphne’s invention please note :
Lino was a neighbour of mine as a child in Valletta. He lived two doors up from the Ta’ Giezu Church in St John Street. His father was a reputable tailor.
Every morning he came to school with me. I was in his brother Joe’s class. Lino was younger than me.
He was a smart guy. He became a well known accountant.
And yes, he disappeared. And yes, his bones, hacked into small pieces, were found in a well several years later. And yes, we all know who his notorious clients were.
This was Malta in the eighties. Lest we ever forget.
This is Malta in the 21st century. Lest we ever see justice done.
Lino was a very nice man – always with a smile on his face.
Cowboys on horses.
Maybe Anglu mistook the elephant for a horse…or maybe he thought he would go one better.
