Guests boo British Foreign Secretary at Bastille Day party at French embassy in London

The British Foreign Secretary gave the customary speech at the traditional Bastille Day party yesterday at the French embassy in London, and met with more booing than applause.
As one of the news channels reported last night, nobody boos the foreign minister of the host country at embassy parties to mark national days – but in Boris Johnson’s case, exceptions are clearly going to be made.
