This is the mayor of Paola. He is nowhere near as as horrendous a the mayor of Zurrieq – one shows off about washing his trousers, the other about defecating in them on television – but still. Is this island normal, or have we just been conditioned into normalising abnormal behaviour and weird people?
I think I need a long holiday somewhere nice and normal, but then you probably do too.
