The government has begun to shower us with junk mail and spam already

You know that the government has moved into the final full year of its current term in office when it begins to spam you all over the internet and shower your letterbox with junk mail, like this below, which arrived at a reader’s house along with the usual supermarket promotional tat.

The Prime Minister and the Minister for the Economy, clearly having no sense of dignity or what’s appropriate, or anything better to do, are promoting Phyllis Muscat’s project, Kwalita Malta – this other Mrs Muscat being the Prime Minister’s matronly friend on whose sailing yacht he spends summer Sundays when he’s not hatching plots with ‘Keet’.

And these two here – Cardona and Muscat – instead of seeing what they’re going to do about insolvent Air Malta’s myriad problems, have got the failing national airline to sponsor Phyllis Muscat’s marketing missives for Kwalita Malta.

ED ZL must be so annoyed. Isn’t Air Malta supposed to be his?
