Joseph Stiglitzspoke to the Panama Papers inquiry committee yesterday, warning against the danger to society of Panamanian company secrecy.
Meanwhile, Jean-Claude Juncker, president of the European Commission, was hard at work sliming up to Malta’s corrupt prime minister, whose chief of staff and in-house cabinet minister (and probably he too) were all found to have started the process to set up companies in Panama just a couple of days after they won the general election, before the cabinet had even been sworn in.
