The government has spent €5 million, most of it in direct orders, to light up the Palace in Valletta like something designed by Hugo Chetcuti and Mark Grima, and to fit out a media room for journalists. There have been no questions in parliament about this spend, and no journalists hounding those crooks for more details.
These are the people who faked going berserk with shock and horror when Eddie Fenech Adami’s government spent €5 million gutting Dar Malta in Brussels and refitting it completely as offices for permanent use by the Maltese government, including Cyrus Engerer and his boyfriend Randolph Debattista today.
The money they’ve spent is just a part of the corruption problem. I don’t think I even want to begin on the aesthetics.
