Not only is the sound and motion of the crowd ‘under siege’ defiant rather than happily enthusiastic, you need to really look at the way the Labour leader emerges from the Paola Labour Party club almost scared of the crowd and completely unwilling to interact with anyone. His numerous bodyguards form a protective ring around him, back everyone off, and edge him safely into the car before anyone can touch him, take his hand or speak to him.
