Euractiv: ‘Malta’s new draft law raises concerns over internet freedom’

Far from ‘solving’ the external and domestic public relations disaster thrown up by the precautionary warrants and multiple libels suits slapped on me by one of its cabinet ministers, in retaliation for exposing the fact that he was in a German brothel with his policy aide, the government’s publication of its Media and Defamation Bill has just compounded the PR catastrophe. These actions have also exposed where the government really stands on the matter of fundamental freedoms, despite its fine false words to the contrary.
