So Ronnie drives a BMW, does he? Gosh, the General Workers Union must pay well. I thought he was starving until I found this story from last year. My, my – he must be earning a living wage to support a household in such grand style with a pay cheque from Tony Zarb.

Joseph and Jason in ‘reconciliation’ Waterfront lunch

Labour Party leader Dr Joseph Muscat and former PL secretary-general Jason Micallef met on Wednesday 20 January for a ‘reconciliation’ lunch at the Valletta Waterfront, this paper can reveal.

Witnesses confirm that Muscat and Micallef were both spotted getting out of a blue BMW driven by Ronnie Pellegrini, who accompanied them into one of the Waterfront’s restaurants at around noon.

I think he actually owns a Mercedes. At least, that’s what I’ve seen him driving.

Daphne, this is exactly why we need a living wage. Everyone will get paid according to one’s needs. So if one owns a BMW, it is natural that one needs more money, so the fatter the salary one gets.
