Normal life in Malta: head of state’s husband gives recipes on Facebook

Makes you wonder why they bother with a palace cook. Imagine how we’d diss him and tell him to get a life and stop being such an embarrassing housewife if he were the First Lady.
Apparently it’s OK for a man to do this because a man who cooks, if he’s not actually a chef, is like that dog that walks on its hind legs: it’s not so much that it’s done well, but that it’s done at all.
But he shouldn’t be doing it anyway, not in his position. This is just so…awkward. I’m trying to picture him at state dinners, trying to exchange recipes with the other men.
