George Mifsud, who has just been appointed chairman of the Broadcasting Authority, replacing Tanya Borg Cardona, was Michelle Muscat’s employer in the 1990s.
Michelle Tanti, as the Prime Minister’s wife was then, was a full-time employee in the PR department at MPS, the advertising agency which Mr Mifsud set up and continues to own.
Mr Mifsud, who is a widower, is in a relationship with Joanne Mercieca, a civil servant who is the government’s Director of Defence.
