It’s Malta Fashion Week, and Michelle Muscat, Spouse of the Prime Minister of Malta, was in the front row at a fashion show on Saturday night, blowing kisses, waving and smiling, just one week before polling day in an electoral campaign so tense and fraught that her Spouse ended up shouting “Chicken! You’re a chicken!” at his electoral rival on prime-time television.

Who’s going to pay for her clothes addiction if her Spouse is voted out of office? Let’s hope they’ve managed to launder enough money to pay for her ever-changing wardrobe of costumes, because 92 euros doesn’t buy much these days, and nobody is going to want to lease that old Alfa.
