The learning curve that starts at the beginning

Aaron Farrugia, the new Parliamentary Secretary for EU Funds and Social Dialogue, has let it be known that he is at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva. Somebody should give him a gentle tap on the shoulder and point out that it’s not a good idea for somebody who is a visiting lecturer at the University of Malta’s Public Policy Department to make public his inability to distinguish between a state and a nation.

It’s Ġnus Magħquda, Parliamentary Secretary, and not Stati Uniti. The latter is where Donald Trump reigns, though not supreme.
