So much for my vague idea that Gavin Gulia sort of passes for a sound person on the Labour benches. But common sense should have told me that sound people don’t choose to join the Labour Party and then stay in it for long years through all its messes.

Gulia wakes up early (by his standards) – which is what he means by ‘fell out of bed’ – and putting the pressing affairs of Opposition aside, he rushes to Facebook to tell everyone about it.

And Herr Flick, that frigid fossil from SS central casting, must have been sitting on Facebook too (kemm huma busy dawn tal-Opposition) because he rushes to reply with a wery witty coh-ment.

They never open their mouths without subtracting from the sum of human knowledge.

Not to mention Gavin Gulia ‘liking’ his own status, which is akin to laughing at your own jokes.

And the worst is that he ‘likes’ his own status.

He probably landed with a thud.

Same as, one hopes, the Labour’s election campaign will sound on March 10.

I don’t vote Labour, but I find Gavin Gulia a pleasant person to speak with.

I think it is a shame that he represents the Labour Party because he seems to be very moderate, more intelligent and makes a better deputy leader than Anglu Farrugia.
