Motivational meme of the year

Published: February 12, 2014 at 9:09pm

This meme was sent in by H. P. Baxxter – the other man is Eric Major, Henley & Partners CEO, who recently described Muscat as a “visionary”, no doubt because of all those millions Muscat is going to put in Major’s pocket.

I hate to be that guy but this is not exactly a meme. It is what is known as a demotivational poster and those are already dead.

And a thousand million is a billion so he could easily said ‘Biljun Ewro’.

Anyway, keep up the good work Daphne. Besides timesofmalta.com (mostly for sports and weather) your website is the only Maltese site that I actually enjon.

  3. Maradona says:

Thing is, where will the money be going?

    • La Redoute says:

That depends on the weather and the time of the month.

Scicluna said it would go into a wealth fund. Muscat said it would go into a social development fund which has not yet been set up and which will be run like the central bank (no, me neither).

Scicluna said the new investment scheme (sic) will net Malta Eur30million a year. Muscat said that selling citizenship (no fudging the issue now) will bring in Eur1000million.

What will they do with that money? They don’t know yet, so they say, but expect lots of free housing, pjaciri, and chops mal-kvern.

They don’t yet have plans for soaking up the Eur1.2billion in EU funds. Maybe that’s because that would mean drafting visionary plans and setting proper targets. There’s no such nonsense about spending money from passport sales. Muscat will do with it as he wishes, whatever he has led anyone to believe.

You must be new around here.

All members of the cheap striped-tie brigade.

  5. M. Cassar says:

Jones looks better and better considering that Old Major was just a smoke screen for Napoleon. When can we expect the local version of the “Comrade Napoleon” to be circulated?

The real visionary is the company Sleepthinker who’s super strong version of their product was tailor made for the local market and shot their share prices through the roof. One need not watch MTV for best effect, most local productions would suffice. Super strong versions have run out so the link is to the regular versions tailored to the rest of the world.

A good read, if only for the very painful evidence that Henley and Partners know that, in Muscat, they have found a willing fool, and the previously unknown fact that Chris Kalin made his names popularising St Kitt’s passports-for-sale scheme.

Is Joseph Muscat, Henley’s and China’s version of the Manchurian Candidate?

  8. bryan says:

Major’s left hand is in his pocket fingering the money which will get there in no time at all. To Major this is not a minor matter at all.
