Ice bucket challenge: a ‘team building effort’ for the Malta Tourism Authority

At 9am today I received the following text message:
Super charade by new MTA CEO this morning. All staff received an email from Jackie St John (asst manager who became a god lately) asking them to participate in an ice bucket challenge as a ‘team building effort’.
Can it get any worse or more stupid?
Perhaps they should take a bottle of whisky and a real ice bucket along with them. And a cheque book.

The original ice-bucket challenge was about making EITHER a donation OR taking the bucket.
Now, as a ‘team-building effort’ it is group-stinginess elevated to completely new levels of popularity. How sad.

Jackie St John is married to ex Super One ‘journalist’ Etienne St John’s brother. Another Taghna Lkoller: she was given the post at the Malta Tourism Authority way back in the 96-98 labour days. Most probably she is back to glory.
The video above gives a lesson to all those who took the challenge. This shows that before the ice comes the writing of the cheque. I wonder how many of those who did the challenge offered as a donation.
