Here’s an update on Erin Tanti

There was a public outcry when Erin Tanti, who is facing trial for the murder of one of his 15-year-old pupils when he was a teacher at a private school, enrolled as a freshman at the University of Malta last month. He pulled out of the course.

But here he is now, come se niente fosse.

You can see what’s going on here already: “Your honour, this man has reformed himself and turned a new leaf. He has built a respectable life for himself and made an effort. And you are going to send him to prison?”

It’s bad enough that the trial is nowhere near about to begin because the compilation of evidence is still dragging on.
