Insight into a Lejberrrr brain
A highly intelligent and very observant supporter of the Labour Party posted this comment beneath an on-line news story. I think it provides fascinating insight into the way some minds (don’t) work.
However, when you weigh the good things with the less good things and compare Labour with Nationalist the good things side of the balance is much better for Labour than for the Nationalists. And this can be seen if one were to refer to past history without any blinkers of any colour.
Altogether now: sss…..ig……gggghhhhh.
I’d have more respect for a person who says: fine, they were a prize bunch of violent, corrupt and inept thugs and racketeers, but I don’t care and I’m still going to vote for the party. But somebody who ‘refers to past history’ and concludes that Labour was a bigger success story in government than the government of the last 20 years? A brain like two marbles in a tin-can.

As an avid collector of mixed metaphors these people are always a rich source. Blinkers of any colour? Or is it tinted glasses he had in mind? In any case, wearing either he should still be able to tell which way the balance is tipping, no?
There, I’m sure I sound like Bernard Wooley.
Not exactly related to this story but another fine example of (dare I say) idiocy nevertheless…
Here’s what Sandro Pace, taking time off from disseminating racism, had to say about the story of the teacher who was poked in the eye by a five-year old’s crayon:
“I agree with the general sentiments here. In my days, discipline was supreme. Teachers used to hit misbehaviours with a ruler. It hurts, but I thank them for that.”
He must be thinking of the good old days when he was a young buck in the Hitler Youth. Evidently the teachers also did not hit him hard enough to get him to expand his English vocabulary.
[Daphne – Who is Sandro Pace?]
Sandro Pace is someone who was commenting all summer in the Times against illegal immigrants.
[Daphne – Thanks.]
:D
