Miskin, Mintoff suffered so much more than Anthony Mifsud

Published: October 31, 2008 at 10:09pm

Anthony Mifsud was awarded the equivalent of Lm80,000 in compensation for being locked up in solitary confinement for three years, beaten, tortured, victimised, unfairly accused of having committed a crime and having his life ruined. Dom Mintoff was awarded almost half a million liri for the unbearable pain and suffering of having a power station built next to L-Gharix, the house where he dallied with Wenzu Mintoff’s mother – as seen in explicit photographs brandished by Lorry Sant in parliament in the early 1990s. And he got to keep the house, too. It wasn’t expropriated. Ah, the equality of pigs. He should redeem himself by handing the loot over to Mifsud. After all, the crime happened when he was minister responsible for the police. But pigs don’t fly, do they?

I found this blog post radically detached from reality because it contains a feeling of awe and amazement.

Anthony Mifsud got Lm80,000… just enough to pay for his medication, or so he said a few minutes ago on Xarabank. Mintoff wanted to live off the high life off the country which so gratefully put him in power.

What is amazing is not the fact that these thugs ruined Mr.Mifsud’s life. What is amazing is that many Maltese still believe that Mintoff in some strange way saved the country from poverty.

As I repeated many times, I wasn’t born at the time when Mintoff was elected but what I know is that this man efficiently ruined the country aesthetically, morally, culturally and radically destroyed the education system of the time. There is no hint of music, architecture, art or anything of the type coming from the Mintoff Era.

That in order to improve Malta’s, and his own, economic position.
