Woman admits to having attached three policemen

A report on timesofmalta.com on Thursday states that a woman, Antoinette Rizzo, admitted to having attached three policemen last May as she was about to be booked for a parking offence and was given a suspended jail term. After considering the woman’s criminal record and the fact that she had apologised and cooperated with the police, the court jailed her for one year suspended for three years and fined her €500 together with a €230 guarantee that she did not molest the policemen again. The woman had been accused of having bitten two police officers and scratched a third in the face.

They make it sound like she glued 3 policemen together and played doctors with them.

Hi Daphne, forgive me for going slightly off-track but couldn’t resist posting this link given your interest in protocol etc. I think the poodle has some serious competition here:

Did she also breach the pubic peace?

The policemen in the picture seem to be molesting each other.

Is this the new Lorna Vassallo, complete with dashing scarecrows?

    Julianne Marie Gatt

Try sauntering slowly down the middle of Republic Street on any weekday morning. People just dash into you like scarecrows. Everyone rushing, dashing, speeding by, with a false sense of purpose, going nowhere, fast, with their only destination being hurry itself.
    …..
Technologically speaking, we are improving in leaps and bounds towards a scientific future, yet the silence reverberates with a deploring lack of altruism.
