The colour gradient is a marvel. Love the Kodak kejk.

During the day they convict people for narcotics, during the night they’re best of friends. The last 24hrs have been an enlightenment for me personally. I won’t be voting for any party since none of them distance themselves from such people. I would even close an eye to corruption claims and even coke sniffing. But links to people with cases of murder, NEVER. Prosit Daphne you’ve managed to convince me this hellhole of an island is corrupted as much as our neighbourly Mafiosa Sicily.

Not voting is not an option, Mark. You would still be lumped with one of them and maybe the one that you think is the worst of the lot.

      • Mark C says:

Chris II my vote (1 vote) won’t make a difference.

[Daphne – Every last vote makes a difference, as we saw two years ago. If it hadn’t been for 750 people, Alfred Sant would be our prime minister today.]

What we need is a separate journal exposing people in power and injustices in Malta. And as I said I feel they have both betrayed me as a Maltese citizen. When I see them cuddling up with unscrupulous businessmen (if one can call them such) just to get the funds needed to battle the other party, I give up.

Not voting is an option indeed and perhaps in 100 years or so, people who are fed up of scandals, corruption, incompetence and abuse will follow suit. Or maybe I should give my vote to Alternattiva. At least that’s the only party coming out strong when the case involves murder and corruption.

    ‘Poke Consuelo’

I wonder how many people have done that? (On facebook that is,obviously.)

Looks like the Crack of dawn

  5. A Zammit says:

What a stupid cake! No wonder we get stupid judgements.

    Revolting!

  7. Yanika says:

what’s so wrong with it?! at least it shows she likes ‘nature’…

  8. Rover says:

That cake was the last one in the freezer. Anyway, what’s a picture of a Canadian sunset doing on Consuelo’s birthday cake? A drawing of a Lija block of flats would have been more appropriate.

  9. S.A says:

(Maybe in English this comment is published…)

DCG – Don’t you have anything better to do on Holy Sunday rather then posting pictures of Birthday Cakes?
By any chance do you wish you had one like it?

  10. Rover says:

S.A. you have understood exactly nothing, zilch. We have a magistrate who shags a married man when his wife is having a child. The same magistrate is indulging in business activities and probably involved in the development of a block of flats in Lija, a village that ought to be preserved for our children. She posts unflattering pictures of herself on the net. She is then required to pass judgement on you if you end up in court for perhaps a minor offence. Anywhere else in Europe she would have been asked to hand in her resignation.

Daphne how could it make a difference when he’s in power right now and not doing any difference. The fact is corruption reigns. I just hope the past horrors do not happen in the present.
