Those who insist that the shenanigans of magistrates and of aspiring legislators are irrelevant to taxpayers, citizens and electors are clearly mistaken.
This is one popular bandwagon on which Joseph Muscat will not be jumping any time soon.
He is compromised by the presence of the magistrate’s brother in his team, and by the fact of those photographs which demonstrate clearly just how close to Super One and Labour’s inner circle the magistrate in question really is.
If she had been a PN insider instead, she and her ‘partner’ would have been hung out to dry by Muscat and Charlon Gouder.
But Labour doesn’t have the guts to do what the Nationalist Party did with Robert Musumeci, and drop Magistrate Herrera like a hot potato.
It can’t drop Herrera himself, because he’s got a seat in parliament.
But the least it can do at this stage is reassure the electorate that when her brother, having won the tussle with the former police inspector, becomes minister for justice, we won’t have to contend with yet another Judge Herrera.

Terrific, Daphne!
You give such insight to your beautiful and wonderful country.
What are you congratulating Daphne for Ken ………….. I’m Maltese and have no idea what she is on about this time. Please explain. Thanks a lot.
Daphne is saying that Joseph Muscat should practise what he preaches. Joseph’s credibility has hit rock bottom.
