Environmentalist sues for libel
A libel suit against Daphne Caruana Galizia was this morning filed by environmentalist Astrid Vella in her personal capacity and in her role as coordinator of the NGO Flimkien Ghal Ambjent Ahjar.
She said that comments made in Ms Caruana Galizia’s blog “Daphne Caruana Galizia’s notebook – Running Commentary” were libellous in her regard.

Interestingly, that letter was filed through the lawyers Herrera and Dalli – wheels, within wheels, within wheels.
She has just realised that Kermit and Miss Piggy are taking all the limelight. She is also enticing people who post comments to join her group through her website – maybe she trying to break your record of views.
It is very strange that she has mentioned nothing about the Fawwara farmhouse, well maybe her organisation and the ramblers are not interested in those areas.
Come on, Astrid, show us that you care: organise a protest at Panda Farmhouse with your sidekicks the Ramblers.

Yes, like reading Malta Today and drinking coffee at the Plaza at 3.00pm – I thought she was against the rape of Sliema – never thought that she would be relaxing in one such “raped” part of the town.
She lives in one such part of Sliema, too, albeit an older one – You know, just down the road from Sliema’s “baroque” house.
Let her sue. I’m sure someone put her up to it. What no one is saying is how come everyone and his little dog rose up in righteous indignation in favour of Realta and free speech and none of these people uttered a word in support of Daphne and free speech ?
