But Malta's an island and everyone knows everyone, so what can Moi do?

But Malta's an island and everyone knows everyone, so what can Moi do?

So Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando, his companion (the magistrate was photographed with her at a fashion show, in the last issue of First magazine), magistrate Herrera and Robert Musumeci are jolly friends who socialise together, exchange ideas and prop each other up in these troubled times.

I have some interesting news for you.

Here it is, taken from the civil suits list on justice.gov.mt.

….But Pullicino Orlando seemed not happy with the World Bank official’s reply and again stood up to make his point clearer.

He said: “In Malta, we do actually have an independent commission called the permanent commission against corruption – I would suggest that for the parliamentarian to be completely exonerated if there are annnyyy… eee… well… allegations of corruption in his regard, he should submit himself to the judicial system which is obviously completely independent from parliament – it’s one of the pillars of basically democratic society – that would ensure greater transparency I believe and I think that would instill a greater level of trust even amongst the general public.”
