Did you know there’s a European Elvis Championship? Amazing. It was held last week in Birmingham.
This picture was published on the BBC’s online world news – the Day in Pictures, 6 January – and captioned ‘A pair of Elvises, both from Malta, wish each other luck backstage before taking part in the European Elvis Championships, held in the UK city of Birmingham.’

Until some years ago in Qormi we had Fredu Elvis, who wore his greasy-looking hair with a “nokklu”.
Are “nokklu” and “kiss me quick” the same thing?
