The apple does not generally fall very far from the tree, they say.

The princesses’ mother and her singular idiosyncracies were evidenced through the choice of hats. The milliner obviously knew what they loved.

I loved those hats too, but…..

There was an unforeseen problematic situation when the two princesses sat in their shiny limo, driving past zillions of people expecting them to wave, and at least one of them could not look up for the life of her but had to hold her head forcibly bowed and look sideways. The roof was too low. She needed a landau.

When I saw the photo in the previous post (the one about the feminist flames discussing “flimkien ghal-uliedna”), I thought the lady in the middle was wearing an improved version of Beatrice’s hat.

For the people who doubt about Osama Bin Laden’s death it would be enough to look at Hilary Clinton’s body language and facial expression.

I don’t find the picture funny.

See what you miss out on by being a republic.

Is it too late to establish a monarchy in Malta?

    Queen Michelle anyone?

Edward Debono’s Thinking Hats (they were six originally, but have now increased to 8).

    Povra Beatrice!
