The tallest man and now… the youngest woman

Published: March 11, 2012 at 11:23am

Maltastar continues this morning with its Barnum’s Circus list/Ripley’s Believe It Or Not. First it told us that Labour has the tallest councillor. Now it tells us that Labour has the youngest woman councillor (“youngest female”, actually), Rosianne Cutajar, who is described as “a teacher in Italian and ONE newscaster/journalist”.

But it doesn’t tell us her age. How chivalrous.

I heard her during a discussion onTVAM this morning and she didn’t impress me. She either did not understand Pierre Portelli’s questions or else she didn’t want to answer them truthfully.

“Barnum’s Circus list/Ripley’s Believe It Or Not” hahaha, so true. Tivvinthom, Daph.

Some time ago, Daphne, you put up a picture of several Labour ‘youths’, all wearing a red tee-shirt. I can’t remember in what context but she was definitely one of them. She’s another one who thinks politics is all about strutting about, smiling and simpering and basking in self-admiration.

Ms Cutajar is also an aspiring hostess for the Sicilian region.

I am guessing that this is the same Rosianne Cutajar:

    “Teaching Approach

I am an innovative and modern young teacher who teaches italian. I am absolutely against traditional learning methods and traditional teachers which used to focus on the grammar aspect of the language and exlcuding all communicating methods. A language is a living thing so it is fun to learn and there are many pleasant ways to teach it and contextualise it.”

    “Teaching Experience

I am a maltese graduate teacher in possession of a B.A Hons.Italian and litterautre and also a PGCE. I have been teaching italian for these last 4 years. I attend every year to various international courses and I used to live in Italy for a period of time during my studies.

    Cost of Lessons

it depends on how many students I have in my lesson. I cater for all needs. I just enjoy doping my profession that is teaching.”

A language teacher who can’t get her grammar correct, and one who enjoys “doping” her profession …

But the best bit must be this:

    “Name: Rosianne Cutajar
Warning: Unresponsive teacher”, and, further down “Response time of most recent learner enquiry: 538 days”.

I suggest that Joseph’s party adopt a new slogan:

    LABOUR – WHAT A JOKE!

Maybe they actually meant smallest. So they have the tallest councillor of any sort and the smallest one of the ‘female’ variety.

I wonder who has the widest councillor.
